DAVID!!!! We completed our weight loss challenge today and he won 1st place. He lost 25.1 pounds during the 6 week program, but he gained much more...$294 to be exact :-) I'm very proud of him and he looks great.
Unfortunately, I didn't do as well - I only lost .6 this week for a total lost of 6.6. I'm not sure what is wrong or why it's taking so long, but I'm determined not to quit. Any suggestions that have worked for you in the past are definitely wanted and welcomed at this point.
I'm off to San Diego tomorrow for work - returning Thursday night - so no posts until then. I have a few to catch up on....our trip to the dentist with the kids and ice skating yesterday so stay tuned.
Have a great week!

I think it just is not fair how easy it is for a guy to lose weight, geesh! Congrats to him though, and way to go yourself! Have fun in SD! We miss you around here...
I know you've heard this before, but I'll still say it again, "losing it slowly is better than losing it quickly". Keep up the good fight -- you'll win!
25 pounds, good God. What the heck did he eat? Not eat? WOW, congrats though, I am glad he at least won some money being anorexic!
Love the Valentine's pics, so sweet!!

as a women in her 40's with kids like yourself my body's metabolism is screwed up. I have tried working out, dieting nothing much works as I am about 30 lbs overweight. I have been told if you eat right and exercise that 1 lb a week weight loss is what to expect so with 6 weeks and 6 lbs you are doing fine. Remember you did not gain your weight overnight and it is not coming off overnight. There is not short quick fix. Stay on path as this is a hard and long process.
